Thinking about buying your child a new toy for his or her birthday? Well think again when it comes to purchasing the popular three or four wheelers by Razor USA. Razor USA's three wheelers have been recently recalled due to severe laceration risks, and now about 30,000 four wheelers manufactured by Razor are also being recalled.

The reason for the recall is an unexpected surge produced by the four-wheelers because the control module for the throttle malfunctions, creating a jerking motion. There have been at least 60 reports of this unexpected surging, and two reports of injuries.

Think your four-wheeler was part of the recall? The $400 recalled four wheelers were produced from August 2006 through September 2007; if you are part of this recall, stop using it immediately and contact Razor USA at (800) 813-3155 or www.razor.com/recall.
