A comment on Arthritis Drugs Increase Cancer Risk in Children

I suffer terribly with arthritis in my hands but as soon as I stopped eating red meat it made a huge difference. I still eat fish and I can't resist bacon (who can!) but I'm sure it is because I'm no longer eating the fats in the meat that has helped me.

A comment on Supreme Court Decision is a Victory for Consumers

This decision is an important victory for advocates of the right-to-know. As the National Coalition Against Censorship Executive Director Joan Bertin writes: "When the government can’t, or doesn’t collect, vital health and safety information, there are a few other ways to obtain it. Private litigation is one. Thanks to the Supreme Court, this kind of self-help is still an option."

A comment on Fosomax May Increase Risk of Cancer

I have a good friend and great attorney who is suffering from this cancer. In my reading it seems that most cancers cannot be explained by genetics and are caused by pesticides, radiation, food additives and drugs. I also blogged on the connection of diet drugs and cancer: More ...

Thanks for this interesting story.

A comment on FDA Warns of Possible Vytorin Cancer Link

B-in-law (70) taking Vytorin after heart surgery one yr ago. Had to have gastrectomy 2 weeks ago due to stomach cancer, stage 3. With all the tests prior to heart surgery, would signs of cancer show up? No cancer in family; never had stomach problems prior to Vytorin. Any advice?
Thank you.
Mary
